1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SQuEN ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms are separate from, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Description of Service
SQuEN is an AI career assessment platform that helps professionals assess and improve their Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Network. The Service lets you complete a career assessment, receive your SQuEN score, download a PDF report and access AI-generated career insights. It also offers an early-access waitlist and a product update newsletter.
The Service is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future; any such features will be communicated clearly before they become payable.
3. No Account Required
SQuEN does not require you to create an account. You can complete an assessment and view your results without providing any personal information. Where you choose to provide your email address — for example to receive your report by email, join the waitlist or subscribe to updates — you are responsible for ensuring that address is accurate and current.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Misrepresent your identity or provide false details in exchange for services.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service.
- Upload malicious content or interfere with the Service's operation.
5. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to SQuEN. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. AI-Generated Content
Career insights and recommendations provided by the Service are generated with the assistance of AI. They are informational only and do not constitute professional, financial, legal or career advice. You are responsible for your own career decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features and content, is owned by SQuEN and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos or brand elements.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SQuEN does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQuEN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Where the Service is free of charge, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
10. Termination
Because SQuEN has no accounts, you can stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or suspend access to the Service, in whole or in part, for conduct that violates these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SQuEN operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
